SmartPack - packing lists is a packing assistant designed to help you prepare travel lists with minimal effort. The app combines automation with customization, learning what you need based on trip duration, gender, weather conditions, and activities—then letting you build on that foundation with your own items.

The app's context system is where its power emerges. Instead of static checklists, you combine contexts (plane + driving, business + cold weather, traveling with a baby) and the app automatically suggests only relevant items. You can even configure items to exclude themselves when certain contexts appear—so a hair dryer won't show up if you've selected a hotel stay. Items also link to parent items: select a camera and its lenses appear automatically; pick a laptop and its charger follows. This prevents the frustration of forgetting paired essentials.

Once your list is complete, Voice Mode transforms packing from screen-focused to hands-free. The app reads items aloud in sequence, waiting for your voice confirmation—say "ok", "yes", or "check" to mark each item packed and move to the next. This works especially well when your hands are full or your eyes are on your luggage, not your phone.

Organize items into separate bags (carry-on, checked, backpack) with individual weight tracking for each. Input the approximate weight of items and the app calculates totals, helping you avoid baggage surcharges. The master item list is fully customizable: add, edit, remove, or archive anything. Export and import your lists as CSV files for backup or sharing.

Contexts and categories are unlimited and fully customizable, letting you organize items however suits your travel style. The app also supports tasks and reminders—mark items with the Task category to create a pre-trip preparation checklist alongside your packing list. Need something you don't own yet? Quickly add items to a shopping list without breaking your packing flow.

A home-screen widget gives you quick access to check items without opening the full app. AI suggestions (experimental) can propose items based on your selected contexts, expanding the master list intelligently. The database syncs with Google Drive for automatic backups and multi-device use, with manual backup options available as well.

Translation is straightforward: if your language isn't officially supported, use the built-in assistant to rename all items, categories, and contexts.
